I am a registered Further Education Teacher holding a First Class Honours degree in English and Psychology from Atlantic Technological University (ATU) and a QQI Level 6 Special Purpose Award in Training and Development amongst other qualifications.

Supporting Learners and Communities

Specialising in academic, digital and workplace skills, our tailored courses and workshops have been making a difference in the lives of students and communities across the north west.

Providing training classes and community workshop facilitation, we work with individuals and groups in colleges of further education, community centres and private settings.

Depending on individual circumstances and needs, classes and workshops are tailored to learners’ needs and are flexible in both their structure and delivery which can be one-to-one or in a group setting.

Digital Skills

Digital Skills for Daily Life

Learners will be introduced to the ways technology can enhance their lives while staying safe online. They will learn how to use their personal devices to keep in touch with friends and family and perform everyday tasks such as banking, shopping and watching videos.

Returning to Education

Our academic-based workshops and classes aim to address the challenges surrounding the transition experienced by those who are entering further education for the first time, who are returning to education as mature students from the workforce or who are currently enrolled on a course.

From Leaving Certificate to PLC and Undergraduate levels, learners are introduced to the fundamentals of academic reading, writing, research, referencing and presentation skills. This not only provides clarity and alleviates stress but motivates students to progress to or stay in further education and do their best in upcoming examinations and assessments.

CV and Job Interview Skills

Tailored CV Writing and Job Interview Skills education assist people in learning how to write a professional CV and present themselves in a job interview to an excellent standard.

Under the tutor’s guidance, CVs will be workshopped and written, showcasing the learner’s individual skills, educational and work history.

Following this, mock job interviews will be simulated using information and questions prepared in the prior workshops. Learners will feel more at ease and confident taking the next steps in their job searching journey.
